Healing Modalities Explored on Retreat
Each of these healing modalities is designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit, providing the tools and space for profound self-discovery and transformation. Together, they will support you in reconnecting with your essence and stepping into a more empowered version of yourself.
Meditation ~ Meditation is the practice of cultivating inner stillness and awareness. By focusing on the breath, a mantra, or a visualization, you’ll quiet the mind, foster emotional balance, and connect with your inner wisdom. This retreat offers guided meditations to deepen your sense of peace and clarity, helping you reconnect with your true self.
Breathwork ~ Breathwork uses intentional breathing techniques to release stagnant energy and emotions, calm the nervous system and access deeper emotional and spiritual layers. On this retreat, you’ll experience the potential healing power of your breath to support the inner work you’ll be engaging with.
Inner Child and Beliefs Work ~ Healing past experiences that continue to influence our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, behaviors, and stress levels can open the way to greater balance and wellbeing. Many women notice certain parts of themselves that are especially active, shaped by both personal experiences and cultural expectations — a caretaking or people-pleasing part, an inner critic or perfectionist, or a responsible, task-managing part — which, while well-intentioned, can sometimes lead to burnout or exhaustion. Through IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Inner Child work and with the support of the practices we’ll be exploring, we learn to access the Self, our calm and compassionate core, helping these parts relax and take on healthier, more balanced roles. We also explore limiting beliefs that may hold us back, understanding how they fuel anxiety, fear, or stress, and discovering practical ways to shift them — supporting greater confidence, ease, and wellbeing in daily life.
Gentle Yoga ~ Gentle yoga combines mindful movement, breath, and body awareness to create a grounding and restorative experience. These sessions are accessible to all levels and bodies and designed to release tension, nurture your body, and support emotional well-being. Yoga helps to rebuild your mind-body-spirit connection.
Yoga Nidra ~ Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a deeply restorative guided meditation practice that takes you into a state of conscious relaxation. By accessing the space between wakefulness and sleep, this practice allows profound healing and transformation to occur. It’s a powerful tool for fatigue, stress relief, emotional release, and connecting with your inner wisdom. This is an especially nurturing and essential practice for any woman suffering sleep deprivation and disturbances such as tending to infants and young children during the night and sleep challenges that arise during perimenopause/menopause.
Soft Tissue/Fascia Body Work ~ Using Yoga Tune Up® Balls which are specialized therapy balls designed to target tension and release adhesions in your muscles and fascia. This practice combines self-massage techniques and mindful movement to create a deeply therapeutic and restorative experience that aid you in managing the “issues in your tissues.”
““Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
