YOUR RETREAT HOME

Lake on the Mountain Resort

Perched high above the Bay of Quinte, Lake on the Mountain Resort offers a setting that feels both grounding and quietly extraordinary — a place where nature invites you to slow down, soften, and truly savour the moment.

Surrounded by vibrant autumn colours, this peaceful lakeside retreat becomes a sanctuary in the fall. Crisp air, golden leaves, and the gentle stillness of the water create the perfect backdrop for a weekend of deep exhale.

You’ll stay in charming cottage accommodations nestled along the shoreline — simple, cozy, and connected to nature. Mornings begin with soft light over the lake and a warm cup in hand… evenings invite you to gather, reflect, and unwind under open skies.

Just steps away, panoramic views stretch across the Bay of Quinte below — a breathtaking reminder of perspective, spaciousness, and the beauty of pausing long enough to take it all in.

There is also something deeply special about this place for me personally. Lake on the Mountain Resort is family owned and operated, and I’ve known the family since I was a teenager. There’s a genuine care woven into this space — a warmth and authenticity that you can feel the moment you arrive.

This is more than a place to stay.
It’s a place to arrive — into rest, connection, and the simple beauty of being.

And perfectly aligned with the spirit of Savour the County, you’ll be immersed in the richness of Prince Edward County — from local food, wine and spirits to quiet country roads and sensory moments that invite you to taste, feel, and experience life more fully.
