Overview
Set on the peaceful shores of Rice Lake at Elmhirst’s Resort, this springtime intergenerational women’s retreat is a heartfelt invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and honour the sacred threads that connect women across generations — in celebration of Mother’s Day.
Created for mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, and chosen family, this nurturing weekend offers a soulful space to rest, reflect, share stories, and simply be together.
Designed for all ages and experience levels, the weekend gently weaves together grounding yoga, guided meditation, nourishing meals, and unhurried time in community. As spring awakens the land around the lake, you’ll also have space to wander in nature, soften into rest, and enjoy optional spa experiences for added care and renewal.
Leave feeling replenished, heart-opened, and deeply connected — carrying home not just rest, but memories, meaning, and a renewed sense of belonging to the lineage of women who shape your life.

Yes, please bring comfy clothes, so you can dress in layers depending on the weather. You do not need ‘yoga wear’ for the yoga practices as long as you have comfortable clothes. Pack some comfortable and supportive shoes for walking, your bathing suit and perhaps a robe. Please also pack your yoga mat, journal, and a small pillow and light blanket for the yoga practices.
-
That won’t be a problem, the chef is very accommodating and there are both vegetarian and vegan brunch options. Let us know what your needs are.

Please let me know what injury you are experiencing, as a physiotherapist I am well equipped to offer you modifications or alternative rest poses. The yoga practice is gentle and completely optional.

The retreat participant numbers will be a maximum of 30 people.

That is completely natural and understandable to feel nervous and at the same time curious to try something new. Sometimes the hesitation is being together with a group of people you don’t know well. I can assure you, my retreats attract lovely open-hearted and welcoming people just like you.
